GoThere ("we", "our", or "the app") is a relocation planning app that helps users organize their move abroad. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password via Firebase Authentication. We do not store your password in plaintext.
User Content: Tasks, calendar events, documents, and destination preferences you create within the app are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage) and associated with your account.
Guest Mode: If you use the app as a guest, your data is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to any server.
The app uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. Firebase provides encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the app's menu. When you delete your account:
